I know I wasn’t here on Friday but that’s because Cornaby’s as a business was up at the Capitol building in SLC enjoying the Rural Legislation day. It was a great event where we got to talk with other people around the state who are concerned about our public lands and farming and where we’re going with these things and it was the site for an awards ceremony. The award was for being one of the top ten business success stories in 2010 as determined by the Utah Small Business Development Center Network. (That’s a Mouthful!)
What that boils down to is that we’ve done a lot of hard work this year, and we’ve got a lot of hard work in front of us, but we also got a day to wear our spiffy clothes and go hobnob with the legislature. It was really a good experience and I was personally very impressed with the emphasis placed on the success of small businesses in Utah and the support available to such entities. It makes me very glad to call Utah home, and to be working here and working with family.
